Blog Solution 1.0 Review

I have been secretly testing The Blog Solution for almost 1 month now. Last month, it was at version 1.0. The Blog Solution team has since updated to version 2.0. This review will be about version 1.0 as a comparison to version 2.0 review that is coming up in the near future.

Introduction to The Blog Solution

The Blog Solution is a unique blogging platform that creates a specified number of blogs on your own domain. These blogs import content from RSS feeds and you may configure The Blog Solution to post content from the RSS feeds at your desired schedule. You may also add links to your posts to let the search engine spiders follow these links to your web site and index them.

The Blog Solution is a lean and mean blog and ping machine. Unlike BlogSpot.com or WordPress, you will not have to manually create each blog. Once you set it up once, you can leave it to run on it’s own. Since these blogs are hosted on your own domain and web host, no one can delete them except yourself.

The Blog Solution Review Standards

For this review, I did the following to ensure my test results will be as accurate as possible:

  • I blogged and pinged to 50 100% RSSGM web sites.
  • I did not do any link exchanges for my RSSGM web sites.
  • I did not use any other way of blogging and pinging other than using The Blog Solution.

In other words, I am relying 100% on the powers of The Blog Solution to see if it really can get my web sites indexed FAST!

Installation of The Blog Solution

I found the installation pretty difficult. The Blog Solution is a PHP/MySQL script and you need to know how to FTP, change folder permissions, password protect folders, and set up CRON jobs.

Configuration of The Blog Solution

You will have to learn some new jargons when using The Blog Solution. I had to read the user manual, watch the video tutorials provided, and ask questions in the forum to understand how to setup the whole thing together.

The good thing is you will be able to automate the creation of blogs and the blogging and pinging process after you have configured The Blog Solution.

Requirements of The Blog Solution

Version 1.0 is a huge resource leech. You will not be able to use this effectively if you plan to get cheap shared hosting. I hosted my blogs on a VPS web host and paid around $45 per month to keep these Blog Solution sites up.

Here’s a snapshot of the resource warning I received from my VPS web host!

My VPS web host was kind enough not to shutdown my web site. They better not because I pay good money to host my sites with them! I started my Blog Solution site with 500 blogs and added about 20 + blogs per day. Maybe I should lower my number of blogs with my next installation of The Blog Solution to reduce the server load.

Results After Using The Blog Solution

I have blurred out my web site domains to keep them private. The screenshot belows shows the amount of traffic I received at my Blog Solution blogs.

I can’t remember the exact date I installed The Blog Solution but it must have been on the 2nd or 3rd April 2006. I have links to my RSSGM web sites at each post made my Blog Solution and you can see the number of pages indexed since the beginning of April 2006 below.

These are the indexed pages of my web site as displayed from my search engine index checker script. It says Google indexed ZERO pages but in actual fact, Google indexed only 1 page per domain except for the outstanding site with 24 indexed pages.

I consider this amazing results just from using The Blog Solution on 1 domain. Some people install multiple copies of Blog Solution blogs on multiple domains to enhance the indexing.

The Blog Solution blogs creates a feeding frenzy for search engine spiders. I have never received so many visits from search engines spiders in my life. This beats any other blog and ping tool I have used so far.

Conclusion

Speed of blog generation: 5/5
Ease of use: 3/5
Customization of blog templates: 5/5

The Blog Solution blogging platform is by far the best blog and ping tool I have used so far. I no longer need to enter BlogSpot.com “captcha” word verification words or fear that my blogs will get deleted from BlogSpot.com.

This is only version 1.0 and it’s worth every penny you invest in it. Now there is version 2.0 and I heard it’s even better then version 1.0. I can’t imagine what kind of results I will get once I install version 2.0 on my web servers!
