Online Gold Finder Review

I don’t usually get excited about purchasing new internet marketing related software but the Online Gold Finder is simply mind blowing. I don’t say this to kiss the author’s ass and hope you buy it so that I get a commission for it… I say this because it is truely amazing.

This Was What I Used To Do…

One of the reasons why I haven’t really made a killing with Google AdSense is because I have failed to target profitable niches to capitalize on. The way I used to research for niches was to randomly think of something that could be profitable and check out the Overture bid price and enter the same keyword into my Google AdWords account to see how much is the Max. CPC for that keyword. It wasn’t scientific at all! I was simply guessing.

I have 2 Google AdSense keyword lists. One I got for free and the other I paid something like $10. I am not sure if they were up to date or accurate at all. Furthermore I didn’t know if the prices were from Google or Overture. These keyword lists weren’t very helpful because they are unreliable and the statistics they provide are the “search count for the previous month” and “number of search engine results for the previous month”. (Heaven knows when it was compiled?).

I also have a few trial memberships to some Google AdSense keyword memebership sites. They send you a bunch of so called “niche keywords” to you every week or month and the research has been “done for you” so as to speak. You get a bunch of keywords with no statistics of how the hell they measured if the keywords are profitable or not. Ok, sometimes they do give you some statistics but I find them unreliable too.

The Big Problem With My Keyword Research Techniques…

  1. I was guesing which keyword would be profitable based on the number of searches and estimated Google Max CPC.
  2. I blindly trusted those keyword lists and membership sites

It didn’t take me long to get fed up with myself and all the tools out there in the market! I stopped building more sites because I knew that trying harder with the same keyword research techniques wouldn’t bring me any great results!

The Big Problem With All The “How To Make Money With Google AdSense Guides” Out There….

I must have read over 5 ebooks on this topic. Guess what? They all don’t cover how to find profitable niches properly. They might cover the building part quite comprehensively but when it comes to picking the right topic for profitable Google AdSense they say things like:

  • “Ok for this video, we’ll use the “ABC” niche”… Then they go on and on about how they build their web sites.
  • “If you want to make more money with Google AdSense, you gotta pick the keywords with the highest CPCs.”… Then they go on and on about how they build their web sites.

The irony is the don’t tell you “How they hell you decide whether a particular niche is going to be profitable?“. Sorry about all this ranting but I feel like I need to tell you guys about this problem I see with the Google AdSense Guides out there. They teach you Step 1 and Step 3 and somehow miss out Step 2 and let you figure it out for yourself if you can! I say we’ve had enough of being misled and lied to! Ok, let’s get back to the Online Gold Finder review.

The creator of the Online Gold Finder is pretty smart. He created a login feature for his keyword database so forget about trying to be a “free loader”.

There are only a few things you need to do to make it work.

  1. Enter a min. search count
  2. Enter a max. search count
  3. Enter a min. CPC price
  4. Enter a max. CPC price
  5. Click on the “Get Keywords” button
  6. Wait for the software to query its database (This could take a long time depending on your internet speed)
  7. Export the results to a text file

You’ll see the results sorted in the following fields:

  1. Results
  2. Searches
  3. Top CPC
  4. KVR
  5. Clicks Per Day

The KVR is a formula the author created and I shall quote his explanation on this:

KVR stands for Keyword Value Ratio. This is mainly used for adsense site builders.The ratio is calculated like this:

(number of searches X 1000 X CPC) / # of Search Results.

The higher the KVR the more potential that keyword has to be profitable as an Adsense site.

This is because it means a site has many searches, a high CPC, and little competion on Google.

Any KVR over 10 is a GREAT opportunity for Adsense…

The higher the KVR the more likely your sites will get indexed highly, and make a lot of money!

I personally believe this is much more scientific than anything I have done before to research my keywords.
