I decided to postpone my first trip to Sydney to February 2006 because I want to be in Singapore to collect my "red packets" full of money from my parents and relatives during Chinese New Year at the end of January 2006 to beginning February 2006.

I have contacted an Australian Migration agent to do some research on the kind of options I have to make a move to Sydney. One of them is to get a JOB… That’s the last resort. I heard the salary in Australia is a lot better than Singapore so maybe it could work out but I don’t like that idea one bit unless I get to work part time or freelance. The other options are like family and business migration programs. Not sure which one would fit my needs at the moment.

The next few months will be exciting… I’ve got my back against the wall now. The only way out is to move forward and raise my income levels beyond what I am getting today to make a smooth, comfortable and swift move to Sydney.
