I’ve been receiving quite a few blog spam lately. Lucky for me WordPress detects a URL in every blog comment and asks for my approval first. But it’s still very irritating. I’m looking for a WordPress plugin to combat this problem. Now I know how it feels like to be spammed with software like Blog Submitter Pro.

And what do you have to say about the EMAIL SPAM from your site, I dont know how does my email got into your list, Now it is asking me every few days to confirm my Subscription to your newsletter, why don’t you rectify your autoresponder to keep reminding ppl about the subscription, if anybody has to signup to NewsLetter, He/She will do it within three confirmation emails from you, there is also no link to stop these confirmation emails, I know your intentions are not BAD or to SPAM but you should make the prompt frequency of your Autoresponder to only three times, after that the email address should be deleted from that database.

I don’t email spam people. The only way you got into my list is because you typed in your name and email address into the subscription boxes on my site. I don’t have the free time to look for other people’s email address and manually add them to my list.
What’s your email address that you claim I am spamming at?

My blog spam problem was solved by activating the word verification feature on Blogspot. It was really annoying having all those lame blog spam.
