I just read a report on this guy who is about to make USD $1 million in Google AdSense income next year and he recommends:
As you can see I have changed links in my AdSense ads to orange to match my site’s design. I have already removed the default border colours by making it look the same as the background colour of my page.
Other tips I have read about are:
I personally use phpAdsNew to manage all my Google AdSense and other banner networks on all my sites. I just have to stick 1 piece of Javascript code on all my web sites and update it from my 1 installation of phpAdsNew.

Hi Vince..another question for you.
Does PHPAdsNew allow you to track all your adsense clicks as well as clicks on ANY link or banner you choose on all sites?
And do you habe to input a channel each time, or does it automatically report to you where the clicks came from?
Thanks.

I create a channel in Google AdSense for each domain like “vincentrich.com” and it will track all the clicks made on vincentrich.com.
PHPAdsNew cannot track my adsense clicks but it can track normal banner clicks.
One more thing I like is that I keep my AdSense code private. What you see is the PHPAdsNew javascript code which doesn’t make much sense.

Pictures next to adsense, be carefull it’s against Googles Terms of Service (TOS) and can get your adsense banned. Checkout http://www.adsensechat.com. Just wouldn’t want to see you get banned as I like your blog/site!
